what should i write about in the argument paper about hunger

OpenStudy (graciek):

World hunger or what specifically?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk... why should we stop world hunger what should we do to stop it? something like like that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well we should stop it because some countries are poorer than others and there are people and little kids starving every day, In some countries the mothers are so malnourished that they are not able to produce milk so they end up feeding the baby's pop which does not give the babes the nutrition they need and makes there teeth go bad, we could stop it by not wasting food and giving it to homeless people, we could donate money, and there are a lot of businesses that have apple trees on there property because they are pretty but then they just let all the apples fall and rot so we could ask to take them and give then to a soup kitchen or homeless shelter or we could send them of to other countries.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Also how come many people are suffering of starvation while so much food is being wasted?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because some countries have acuss to food and money than others, and more locally I don't know where you live, but a big problem in Michigan is the discrimination against Detroit, a lot of people think it is all bad and they can work if they want and everything but that if very wrong, I;m not saying every part but I go to Detroit every summer and it is truly amazing and beautiful down there, not by looking at it but deeper than that, they really try to work and they and so nice down there, they need more help and support. It is not all bad it is run down but there is so much more to it. some people think they are supperiar to others, and don't want to help, some people are unsure how to react and are to scared about all the rumors to actually go down to see but not all of Detroit is like that at all.

OpenStudy (mark0trez):

Not every poor person is hungry, but almost all hungry people are poor. Millions live with hunger and malnourishment because they simply cannot afford to buy enough food, cannot afford nutritious foods or cannot afford the farming supplies they need to grow enough good food of their own. Hunger can be viewed as a dimension of extreme poverty. It is often called the most severe and critical manifestation of poverty. The world produces enough food to feed all 7 billion people, but those who go hungry either do not have land to grow food or money to purchase it. In 2010, an estimated 7.6 million children — more than 20,000 a day — died. Poor nutrition plays a role in at least half of these deaths.
