The inner ear is involved in:

OpenStudy (ilikestudying140898):

equalization of air amplifying sound maintaining balance production of earwax

OpenStudy (ilikestudying140898):

I choose B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you pick multiple answers? It's certainly not D.

OpenStudy (ilikestudying140898):

@FitzIncorporated No only one answer... I think its B??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's a herd one, because it does all of the above, other than earwax. As a scuba diver, the inner ear is very important in equalizing pressure. But it is also very important for balance; you get dizzy, for example, when the fluid in your inner ear is moving faster than you are.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*hard

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Actually, did some research, it's the eustachian tube, which connects to the cochlea but is actually part of your sinuses, that's important for equalisation. So it's balance of amplification.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

More research, and the organ of Corti might be responsible for hearing, but it doesn't amplify sound at all. So.

I have a feeling I've gotten way too invested in this question.

OpenStudy (ilikestudying140898):

@Fitzlncorporated LOL!

OpenStudy (ilikestudying140898):

i THINK ITS b though :/ what do you think

OpenStudy (ilikestudying140898):

maybe C...since the semi canals in the inner ear help with equilibrium... idk
