steps 1 and 2 are good

OpenStudy (mathmale):

I'd strongly suggest you try to solve this given equation yourself, and then compare what you did to the four possible answers.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

step 3 is bad because if you want to solve\[ \frac{6}{4}y=-14\] you have to multiply both sides by \(\frac{4}{6}\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i strongly suggest that as well, although this and the last question were given as if there is some sort of prescribed way to solve these, which there is not

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first off a human being writes \(\frac{3}{2}\) not \(\frac{6}{4}\) and does not "divide" by \(\frac{6}{4}\) but rather multiplies by \(\frac{2}{3}\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

where ever these questions are coming from, they should be sent right back, and replaces by ones that say "solve" not "what was the mistake" etc
