Both Thomas Jefferson and Andrew Jackson claimed to represent the interests of the “common man” and laid claim to the adjective “democratic,” especially in contrast to their political opponents. Which one had the better claim to these titles? Why?
@J.Maule
i know its an opinionated question but my friend needed help with it and i figured i would try this website out :)
Honestly I would say they are both pretty even, since they both did what they can to help the "common man"
thats actually what i told my friend! but he said that wouldnt work for his essay because his teacher said you had to chose one or the other :/
yikes. Honestly I would have to read up on them again. Been a while since i talked about those two men. I don't have the time right now. When does the Essay have to be turned in?
i believe Wednesday but i know he was trying to get it done by tonight because he's on student council or something and they have some fundraiser tomorrow night i think
