OpenStudy (agl202):
any of various nearly colorless cells of the immune system that circulate mainly in the blood and lymph and participate in reactions to invading microorganisms or foreign particles, comprising the B cells, T cells, macrophages, monocytes, and granulocytes is a white cell. A white blood cell is a big cell meaning it would be called a Macrophage the others are not cells but tags that allows the white blood cell to kill the pathogens.
