What is the ratio of the number of cups of cherry juice to the number of cups of lemon-lime soda? (FYI: There are 5 cups of cherry juice for every one cup of lemon lime soda, I just don't know whether the 5 or the 1 goes first.) 1:5 1:20 20:1 5:1

JERK!

@A1UC_Faux, that wasn't even remotely helpful. If you're not going to contribute anything, just don't reply. @coralreef5510, we want to find the ratio of cherry:lemon. We know there's 5 cherries for every 1 lemon, so we just write 5:1 :)

OK thank you so much I just didn't know if it was 5:1 or 1:5, but you made that clear for me thank you.

No problem. It usually helps to write out the ratio as words before you go to numbers.

ok that makes sense
