You are conducting a study on the health of people who have been exposed to radiation and those who have not been exposed to radiation. Which of these methods of obtaining data should you most likely adopt and why?
A. an observational study because it involves the pre-existing condition of the subjects B. an experimental study because it will give the most accurate results C. an experimental study because results can be obtained much faster using this technique D. a sample survey with only people who were not exposed to radiation because it involves random selection E. a sample survey with only people who were exposed to radiation because it involves random selection
wrong subject bud
It's not its algebra 2
Its the right subject, broadly. It part of statisitics.
Do D or E make any sense to you? or can they be eliminated?
No I think it's A
If i had to make an educated guess, I would say A makes the most sense ... but thats not a guarentee of its correctness :)
Your material might define experimental study better, does it really provide more accurate resutls?
no, i think you need to observe the people to get the facts of whos exposed vs whos not exposed to the radiation, instead of performing and testing experiments on them?
an experiment does observations, but it provides a control group that we can compare results. at least thats how im used to defining an experimental study.
just a thought is all
