I can guide you on finding the correlation, but I can't tell you the answer. What you want to do is find the mean (average) of x and y. Once you have your mean of your "x" values you will subtract the mean from every individual x-value that you have.. For example, if your x-values were 1 2 and 3, the average of those is 2, so you would do (1-2) (2-2) (3-2) etc..

Well like I said earlier, find your average of x and then average of y.. your average of x is 1.83 your average of y is 2.86 Now you will subtract your average of x from every x-value.. (.3 - 1.83), (.85 - 1.83), (1.50 - 1.83), (2.50 - 1.83), (4.0 - 1.83) and solve those.. so then do the same for y..

(.8 - 2.86), (2 - 2.86), (2.5 - 2.86), (3 - 2.86), (6 - 2.86) and solve..

Alright, good. Now what you need to do next is multiply your x and y values with each other.. so -2.06(1.53)= ? -.86(-.98)=? -.36(-.33)=? .14(.67)=? 3.14(2.17)=?

you will also square your x and y's .. so.. -1.53 squared =? -.98 squared =? and so on, but like I said do it for x and y

You may be entering them wrong.. I also solved the y's and got 4.7664 So let's just go on from there..

So now you have.. 4.7174 which is what you got from multiplying x(y) 's 6.4294 from squaring the x's & 4.7664 from squaring the y's What you will do next is add up all three of those numbers..
