Help please in functions? <3 :3 :P ;P ;)

OpenStudy (joehoffy):

Which set of ordered pairs represents a function? {(0, 1), (1, 3), (1, 5), (2, 6)} {(0, 0), (1, 2), (2, 4), (3, 4)} {(0, 1), (1, 2), (2, 3), (2, 4)} {(0, 0), (0, 2), (2, 2), (2, 4)}

OpenStudy (kxttxn):

here, this should help a ton: http://www.regentsprep.org/regents/math/algebra/ap3/lfunction.htm

OpenStudy (kxttxn):

Hint: As the site says, a function will not have identical x-elements. Remember, each ordered pair is (X, Y), so in which one are all x's different?

OpenStudy (joehoffy):

yes.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hey remember that you cant have the same x-coordinates. All except the second set have repeating x-coordinates.

OpenStudy (kxttxn):

Okay, did that help any? Per code of conduct I cannot "just give [you] the answer".

OpenStudy (anonymous):

^ My bad haha.

OpenStudy (joehoffy):

*facepalm*

OpenStudy (joehoffy):

none of them are right OMG WHATTTTTT????/

OpenStudy (joehoffy):

@pandaluvs

OpenStudy (kxttxn):

There is one answer that doesn't have the repeating x's. Remember it's the first number that is the x

OpenStudy (joehoffy):

B?

OpenStudy (kxttxn):

That is correct!

OpenStudy (joehoffy):

THANKS!
