That really depends on the situation.

Any questions posted from Quizzes, Tests, and/or Exams is considered as cheating.

Think of it this way:
You're in class working on a test. Your teacher wouldn't let you ask a classmate for help or to check your answers, would they? Certainly not! That's considered as cheating, which is why we do not allow such content here.

Most schools do not allow that.
Public schools and various virtual schools have student agreements such as the Honor Code, which prohibits students from receiving help on Quizzes, Tests, and/or Exams. OpenStudy's Anti-Cheating Policy prohibits such content. If you want, you can give it a read. All users have agreed to OpenStudy's terms upon signup, therefore we expect all users to follow the said terms.

Also, yes, many users do post questions from such sources, but they're doing so in violation of OpenStudy's Anti-Cheating Policy.

Things that are allowed here are ungraded assessments, such as study guides.

If they're about quiz or test questions for which you earn credit, asking for help with them is forbidden.
Help yourself best by asking for clarification of things your teacher doesn't explain well, and do this BEFORE you take your test or quiz.

Like I said above, your teacher certainly wouldn't allow you to ask a fellow classmate to check your answers on your test, nor would they allow another student to explain an answer to you on your test.

Thanks for posting this! I don't think a lot of students on here even realize that they're cheating when they post questions from quizzes and tests. As someone from an online school, I have some tips:
1. Instead of posting questions from quizzes and tests, go through some of the problems in your textbook and ask about them here. That way you'll be better prepared for the assessment and won't need outside help.
2. Realize the consequences for cheating. Even if you don't think you're cheating, your teachers think otherwise. You can be caught. This results in your parents being called and possible removal from the class and even the school.
3. Quick checks are a very small portion of your grade. Do them without being afraid to miss questions. After you're done, that's when you can post any questions you need help with. That will prepare you for the tests.
4. ALWAYS DO THE PRACTICE PROBLEMS BEFORE THE QUIZ.

Sure thing! It just saddens me that people don't think about their future. If you aren't actually mastering the lessons, how are you going to do on the SAT and ACT? How will it look to colleges if you have records of cheating? It does more harm than good in the end.
