Atsie (atsie):

@okdutchman7 "Corey: Tex, ______ es un tatou?" translates... "Corey: Tex, ______ are an armadillo?" Sounds like Tex is getting asked if she's an armadillo. Would the subject pronoun be "YOU" again?

OpenStudy (okdutchman7):

vous because it precedes the verb, you got it.

Atsie (atsie):

yayy! Okay do you know anything about definite articles in french? Don't worry I'll make new questions, but do you tho?

Atsie (atsie):

@okdutchman7

OpenStudy (vincent-lyon.fr):

It should be "tu" before the verb "es" You (singular) are = tu es

Atsie (atsie):

@Vincent-Lyon.Fr Oh so its "tu" instead of "vous"?

OpenStudy (mathmate):

Yes, what @vincent-Lyon.Fr explained is: \(\color{green}{Vous}\) goes with \(\color{green}{êtes}\) ("you are", plural or formal singular) \(\color{blue}{Tu}\) goes with \(\color{blue}{es}\), ("you are", always singular and informal).

Atsie (atsie):

Ooh Thank ya both so so much! I appreciate it! :)) @mathmate @Vincent-Lyon.Fr
