A wector has magnitude as well as direction but im lazy enough to download that document :(

OpenStudy (mathaphobia):

Ok

OpenStudy (mathaphobia):

Wait isn't it looking for the translation?

OpenStudy (mathaphobia):

A free vector is an infinite set of parallel directed line segments and can be thought of as a translation.

OpenStudy (mathaphobia):

So are they looking for a free vector?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

To answer the translation question: A translation is basically a copy of the orignally vector but shifted up down left or right. It's congruent to eachother.
