When we look at a leaf, we see the colors of light that are reflected off its surface. How does this explain the relatively low flow of oxygen in green light?

So you've learned that chlorophyll asorbs the sunlight. There's chlorophyll a and b, and both aborbs light of pretty much every color but green and a bit yellow. So that's why every color is absorbed but green, and green is instead reflected. When there's green light, its not absorbed, and there isn't light energy to power photosynthesis. When photosynthesis stops, its products, which includes oxygen, stops getting produced, lowering the "flow" of oxygen
