Someone please help me? I really need help... I will give a medal and will become a fan~~~ Graph the following equations using the point-slope method or intercepts method. (1 pt) Show the steps of the procedure as outlined in the lesson as you graph the lines. (1 pt) Draw your y-intercept in yellow, your other points in red and your line in blue. 9x + 12y= -36

OpenStudy (anonymous):

To graph this, it would be most helpful to put it into standard form or y=mx+b. So, switch some stuff around to create that, then 'b' is your y-intercept, with 'm' being your slope. If you have any questions, let me know!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

To find the x-intercept, set y = 0 and solve for x. To find the y-intercept, set x = 0 and solve for y.

OpenStudy (abbycross167):

yes ma'am

OpenStudy (abbycross167):

@MeganW Could you show me the steps on how to answer the question? Please?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sure, one minute.

|dw:1449528570790:dw| I don't know if this is how you've done it in your classes, but here is how I worked it into y=mx+b.

OpenStudy (abbycross167):

Ok but what points would I graph? @MeganW
