Quick Question: When finding the square root of something, such as 25x^2, do you also find the square root of the coefficient?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what do you mean? Could clarify your question? If you mean sqrt(25x^2), then that is equal to +- 5x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the answer is 4

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

@Irequireasistance the first answer is incorrect. you DO have to find the square root of the coefficient 25

OpenStudy (anonymous):

When squaring 25x^2, do you square 25 and x^2 or just x^2?

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

^ remember PEMDAS. exponents come before multiplication you square x first, then you multiply 25 afterwards
