MsBrains (ms-brains):

Can someone please check if my work is correct, and teach me how to solve problems like these? I will medal!

MsBrains (ms-brains):

I don't know how to solve this kind of problem.

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

(4,11) is obviously not on this graph. And the line goes through (1,1)

MsBrains (ms-brains):

Yeah, but it those are the only choices..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i can help

MsBrains (ms-brains):

@Nizux Thank you so much!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no problem so the whole point is to find which cordinates are on the line so do you know how to find cordinates on a cordinate graph. ( if not then i will explain)

MsBrains (ms-brains):

I know, but I just don't know I am supposed to find the coordinates on this one. The line cuts right through it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You want to find the points that the line cuts through. That't the goal. If the line cuts through all three points, that's the answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok i am typing an explanation noq

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now*

MsBrains (ms-brains):

How can it be (4, 11) When there is not 11 on there!?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh here let me show you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you see where 10 is

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and where 12 is

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the line in between them is eleven

MsBrains (ms-brains):

Okay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

|dw:1449711793003:dw| ok that might explain it better

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so now do you see (-4,11) Is the line going through it

MsBrains (ms-brains):

Yeah? I see the line going through 4, and it must be going through 11, because those are the options.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

here this will explain it better do you know a way i can draw on the link you sent me

MsBrains (ms-brains):

Yeah, Use the snipping tool on you computer to snip and draw on it. Then save and attach file

OpenStudy (anonymous):

where is the snipping tool (sorry for asking you al this but this is the easiest way to explain it)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok here: -4 is a x cordinate and 11 is a y cordinate so find -4 on the horizantal line and 11 on the verticall line

MsBrains (ms-brains):

Just search for it in the start menu. :) And you'll find it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

MsBrains (ms-brains):

Thank you for doing this btw

OpenStudy (anonymous):
