OpenStudy (foxythepirate0984):

8/5+ (−1/3)

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

Do you have answer choices?

OpenStudy (foxythepirate0984):

no

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

Is this your problem: \[\frac{ 8 }{ 5 } + \left(\begin{matrix}-1 \\ 3\end{matrix}\right)\]

OpenStudy (foxythepirate0984):

yes

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

Ok, all you need to do is Simplify: \[\frac{ 8 }{ 5 } + \left(\begin{matrix}-1 \\ 3\end{matrix}\right) = \frac{ 24 }{ 15 } + \frac{ -5 }{ 15 }\]

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

\[\frac{ 24 }{ 15 } + \frac{ -5 }{ 15 } = \frac{ 24+5 }{ 15 }\]

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

\[\frac{ 24+5 }{ 15 } = \frac{ 19 }{ 15 }\]

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

\[\frac{ 19 }{ 15 } ~is~the~answer\]

OpenStudy (foxythepirate0984):

how do you do the fraction thing instead of doing ''3/5''

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

You click the equation button

OpenStudy (anonymous):
