@Joedewise Actually, the most correct form of the term "symbiosis" is simply two or more organisms that live in some form of a close relationship. There are at least three types of symbioses, though there is a fourth one that makes zero sense really. The three most common are: mutualism, commensalism, and parasitism. Fitness consequences define the relationships and some consider mutualism to be reciprocal parasitism.
