Please help; will fan and medal! Question in comments.
ok lets make sure this one is clear
set \[\frac{-2}{3}x=8\] solve for \(x\) that will be the first coordinate, the second will be \(-1\)
so whatever 8 divided by -2/3 is and -1? (I don't have the proper calculator for fractions..)
yes that is right
btw 8 divided by -2/3 is the same as \[8\times (-\frac{3}{2})\]
Alright. Uhm, do you know of an online calculator that will be able to do that?
yes, your brain what is 8 divided by 2?
You don't have to be rude about it; I didn't know how to divide a whole number by a fraction.
it is whole number arithmetic what is 8 divided by 2 is 4 right? then \(4\times (-3)=-12\) so \[8\times (-\frac{3}{2})=4\times (-3)=-12\] not a calculator exercise
Well nobody has taught me how to do it and you're acting like I should just automatically know :/ I've never done this stuff before today.
do you still need help?
