also, that is the definition of a EUKARYOTE, as in the organism possessing the eukaryotic cells. That was not the definition of eukaryotic cells, so I posted the desired definition below the first. I was trying to provide information to help the asker understand how it all comes together, so they can learn rather than always have to ask for help.

@Seeing.In.Pixels Yeast are Eukaryotes and single cells, as are amoebas, chytrids, diatoms, paramecium, etc. It is absolutely not part of a definition (multicellularity). Eukaryotes have membrane bound organelles, the most important of which are the nucleus, mitochondria, and some have chloroplasts. There are rare instances of completely mitochondrial loss in obligate parasites. Further, Eukaryotes linear chromosomes, except in the mitochondria, chloroplasts, and in rare organisms, plasmids. Eukaryotes lack a peptidoglycan cell wall, have multiple locations that DNA replication can start at on a segment of DNA, and they have introns (this is rare in prokaryotes).

@Seeing.In.Pixels Not your fault, but Apex Learning must have some severe issues. Perhaps it is not quite explaining things correctly, because it is true that all multicellular organisms are eukaryotes. This is like all squares are rectangles but not all rectangles are squares. All multicellular organisms are eukaryotes but not all eukaryotes are multicellular.
