How would I solve this, Prove: tan^2 0*cos^2 0 + cos^2 0 =1? Could someone show me how to do it please? Thank you!

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

use tan = sin / cos

But there isn't sin in this equation. Unless I am reading this problem all wrong?

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

tan^2 θ * cos^2 θ + cos^2 θ = 1 (sin^2 θ / cos^2 θ) * cos^2 θ + cos^2 θ = 1

Oh okay, I see what you mean! Thank you very much.
