OpenStudy (arianna1453):

FAN + MEDAL Rolle's theorem cannot be applied to the function f(x) = ln(x +2) on the interval [–1, 2] because f is not differentiable on the interval [–1, 2] f(–1) ≠ f(2) All of these Rolle's theorem can be applied to f(x) = ln(x + 2) on the interval [–1, 2]

OpenStudy (fortytherapper):

Have you plugged in 2 and -1 into the equation to see if the results are equal?

OpenStudy (arianna1453):

Yes, I get 0 when plugging in -1 and not diffrentiable for 2.
