Do not provide direct answers. OpenStudy is here to help users to learn- not to cheat!

OpenStudy (ktbug3):

because the first thing you do is get the # next to the varriable out of the way and to do that you would divide on both sides. i think! and ok

OpenStudy (ktbug3):

ok @Whitemonsterbunny17

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What do you think @Thadds2003

OpenStudy (thadds2003):

ummmm............... b i think.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You might be able to do it that way, but it is not the best way. 9-3q=14 I honestly don't know where to start if trying it that way, so let's just do it right. 9-3q=14 Subtract 9 from both sides -3q=5 Divide by -3 q=5/-3 But you see how subtract 9 is the first step because it will give us one number or the right side, so that we may divide to separate the variable in the end.

OpenStudy (thadds2003):

so that is the answer, thx. im opening a new q......

OpenStudy (rainbowdashrocks):

soops sorry busy

OpenStudy (rainbowdashrocks):
