What is a transition phrase? A transition phrase is Two sentences become a sentence, using transitions words or phrases that link sentences and paragraphs together smoothly so that there are no abrupt jumps or breaks between ideas. Here is a list of some common transition word that can be helpful for writer to use the word to link two sentences.

although is a transition word thats why the answer is c you know because a transition word helps 2 clauses and so basically connects to paragraph...if you can put a paragraph before it then the word is considered a transitional phrase
