Variations Just to double check my answer

Given s varies directly w^n and s=6 when w=1. Find the value of n when s=150 and w=5.

Parth (parthkohli):

\[s = kw^n\]Now sub \(s = 6, w =1\).\[6 = k\cdot 1^n = k\]\[\Rightarrow k = 6\]\[150 = 6\times 5^n\]\[n = \cdots\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[n=2\]

Parth (parthkohli):

Good.

Thank you @ParthKohli :)
