@Zale101 can u help? please
Read about it in this website. First, thy talk about Mitosis, second meiosis. http://www.uic.edu/classes/bios/bios100/lecturesf04am/lect16.htm

Thanks!
If you want an easy way to remember this, rmb the phases include PMAT> Prophase, Metaphase, Anaphase and Telophase. Prophase involves condensation of chromosomes Metaphase involves the assembly of the chromatids on the centre of the cell, known as the metaphase plate Anaphase involves separation of the chromatids to both ends of the cell Telophase is closely involved with cytokinesis, which involves the cell making new envelopes to surround the two genetic material. Mitosis and meiosis are quite similar in the sense that they go through the same phases, but meiosis involves two divisions, whilst mitosis only one. So meiosis have P1, M1, A1, T1 and P2, M2, A2 and T2. Hope that helps
