OpenStudy (testing123guest):

plz help me i will medal and all that

OpenStudy (testing123guest):

OpenStudy (testing123guest):

@Agl202 @ganeshie8 @ikram002p @inkyvoyd @IrishBoy123 @just_one_last_goodbye @Mehek14 @Nnesha @pooja195 @Vocaloid @welshfella

OpenStudy (muddygirl):

i believe it would either be B or D. I'm not 100% sure

OpenStudy (testing123guest):

how

OpenStudy (jadzia):

Do you know the slope formula?

OpenStudy (jadzia):

You can find the rate of change/slope of the function from the table (choice A) using the slope formula.

OpenStudy (jadzia):

For the 2nd choice, you know that y=mx+b and 'm' is the slope. You can just take take the value of m in the equation and take that as your rate of change

OpenStudy (jadzia):

for the 3rd choice, you can rearrange the equation in terms of y, and the process of finding the rate of change will be the same method of what we did on the 2nd choice

OpenStudy (jadzia):

For the 4th one, pick two points and do the same process like what we did on the 1st choice.

OpenStudy (jadzia):

After you find all the slope/rate of change for all of the choices, you can easily determine which one has the greatest rate of change

OpenStudy (testing123guest):

can tell me i am not good at math at all plz

OpenStudy (testing123guest):

@Jadzia

OpenStudy (testing123guest):

sorry but can u

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Let me see if I can help you @Testing123guest

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For a the rate of change would be 2.

OpenStudy (jadzia):

yah, np :D so let's do the first one, shall we? we have to know the slope formula first.. which is.. \(\sf \Large m= \frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}\) where \(\sf (x_1, y_1)\) and \(\sf (x_2, y_2)\) are your given points. From the 1st choice, pick two points or values of x and their corresponding y-values

OpenStudy (testing123guest):

i dont mean to seem mean but can we make it fast plz i am in a rush

OpenStudy (anonymous):

um sure let me see

OpenStudy (jadzia):

oh so you are asking for the 'answer' and not the 'guide' ? alright, have a nice day ^_^

OpenStudy (testing123guest):

no i am not just i want to learn but i want to learn fast i am in a rush

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Testing123guest you have to be guided first to find the answer. It is the rules, but to help you out here is the same question on openstudy for you http://openstudy.com/study#/updates/54c1d6c4e4b0e0dd17c9e263

OpenStudy (anonymous):

"so for A the slope is 2 for B the slope is 7 for C the slope is -15/5 = for d the slope is ? it looks like 6/2 put all the numbers in order which is the highest?" This is from @triciaal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C is -3 D is 3 A is 2 and B is 7 so which is the highest?

OpenStudy (testing123guest):

b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The yes that is the answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Then yes srry

OpenStudy (muddygirl):

So the correct answer is B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yep!!!

OpenStudy (testing123guest):

who do i give the medal to

OpenStudy (muddygirl):

Either one of us. It doesn't matter

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it dont matter whoever answered your question.

OpenStudy (muddygirl):

We both did, which is making him confused as to who to give it to.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

eh just give it to @muddygirl

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thx for the medal @Testing123guest

OpenStudy (testing123guest):

ya anytime
