ok what's the question?
OpenStudy (hypersniper445):
OpenStudy (photon336):
it's a vertical line
OpenStudy (photon336):
best way to do this is to pick two points then find the slope
OpenStudy (anonymous):
I think it's y=6x

OpenStudy (hypersniper445):
i was thinking that too
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Because The line goes through six on the x axis and it is going up like the y axis.
OpenStudy (photon336):
thing is it's the slope isn't chaging by 6 though
OpenStudy (hypersniper445):
it isnt?
OpenStudy (photon336):
It's a vertical line, it's not in the form y = m(x)+b
because there isn't a slope here. remember all the x values are the same
so it would just be a vertical line where x = 6

OpenStudy (photon336):
remember all the x values are the same here, so when we try to find the slope y/x between two points we can't so that's like part of the reason why it's not in the form y = m(x)+b
OpenStudy (hypersniper445):
okay that makes sense
OpenStudy (hypersniper445):
i have a couple more if you have the time :)
OpenStudy (photon336):
yeah go ahead

(y – 29) = 3.5 (x –6)
is that right? @Photon336
OpenStudy (photon336):
you could check that
by plugging in your x and y values.
x = 2 y = 43
y - 29 = 3.5(x-6)
then see if this satisfies it let me know
OpenStudy (hypersniper445):
it looks like it does
OpenStudy (photon336):
so how did you come to your answer y-29 = 3.5(x-6)
