A particle is moving according to the equation: r(t) = [(5t3+6t-4)i+(2t4-t2+1)j]m A) What is the velocity at 2 seconds? B) What is the acceleration at 2 seconds?

Remember that velocity is the derivative of the position function and acceleration is then second derivative of the position function. So,\[v(t)=r'(t)\]\[a(t)=v'(t)=r''(t)\] After you differentiate both components, you simply plug in 2 for t. You will both find v(t) and a(t) in vector form (that is, \(<i, j>\))
