OpenStudy (howard-wolowitz):

Two Pratice question's, am I correct.

OpenStudy (howard-wolowitz):

If not, then correct me by all means

563blackghost (563blackghost):

I think for number 1 you are incorrect....because In a simple random sample you would number every individual in the target population, then randomly select a preset of number of them to compromise the sample...

563blackghost (563blackghost):

Read this...

563blackghost (563blackghost):

They number every indivdual in the population and then randomly generate it with technology...so which would it be?

OpenStudy (howard-wolowitz):

ok so I'd go with a or b then right?

563blackghost (563blackghost):

Yup ^^

OpenStudy (howard-wolowitz):

A then

563blackghost (563blackghost):

Correct ^^

OpenStudy (howard-wolowitz):

sweet

563blackghost (563blackghost):

Im kinda confused on #2 though.... :(

OpenStudy (howard-wolowitz):

2 might actually be A

563blackghost (563blackghost):

For number 2 I think your incorrect....the 922 were against the increase so they were they were not part of the population of interest.... and 1,744 people listened to the station so it wouldn't be A either....

OpenStudy (howard-wolowitz):

mayb the all the people who listened

563blackghost (563blackghost):

I think it would be D because we know of the portion who were against the increase but there were 1,744 listeners in total meaning some might have been able to registered to vote and others were not but were accounted for....but thats my opinion

563blackghost (563blackghost):

So have you come to a consesus? (dont know if I really used that word right) :P

563blackghost (563blackghost):

If you have please close your question ^^

563blackghost (563blackghost):

I must go sorry :(
