infinite

OpenStudy (anonymous):

why? The slope is same and y intercept is not same

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

replace y in the second equation by y=3x-7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i'm sorry none

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so sorry i wrote nonsense

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

no you do have good point

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

graphically speaking that's what is happening

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I was talking about "infinite"I wrote

OpenStudy (gokuporter):

i did that

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

you can just realize that y=3x-7 and y=3x-2 lines are parallel

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

yes that part was wrong it is not infinite there are not the same line

OpenStudy (anonymous):

|dw:1452054490470:dw|

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

there is no solution is the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

parallel lines don't meet

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so yeah no answer

OpenStudy (gokuporter):

thanks for helping i forgot about that. so i will know keep it in mind

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

you use algebra as i was going with in the beginning y=3x-7 6x-2(3x-7)=12 6x-6x+14=12 14=12 since 14 is never 12 then it must have no solutuion
