Hmm, I am new and don't know if I'm doing this right yet: The statement is - Write the equations of three lines whose graphs are parallel to y=2x+11. Can anybody help? :)

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Hint: parallel lines have the same slope. You could make just one change to y=2x+11 and end up with a line parallel to y=2x+11 that crosses the y -axis at a different place. Try it.

Thank you, thanks to this comment I think I found the answer! ^^

Great! Just change the 11 to some other number, and do this 2 times, and then you'll have the equations of several parallel lines.

Thank you for the welcome! Also I actually ended up doing that right before due to the first comment. I feel a lot more confident :)

OpenStudy (mathmale):

that's great news for me as well as for you!

Thank you. :)
