Basically, what are the numbers you can multiply to get to 56? example, the factors of 20 are 1, 4, 5, 20. 1*20 = 20; 4*5 = 20

Another way to do this is to divide 56 by each of the options and see which isn't a whole number. 56/4 = 14, that's a whole number; 56/8 = 7, that's a whole number; 56/14 = 4, that's a whole number; 56/26 = 2.15, not a whole number
