Emergency treatment is needed to treat heatstroke I got this from google but use this information to help you :')
Heat exhaustion is the step after heat cramps. The heat exhaustion is when someone is becoming tired due to lack of hydration. Most commonly symptoms may include heavy sweating and a rapid pulse, a result of your body overheating. Now the heat cramps I mentioned are the first step in heat related injuries. The worst is the other you had Heat Stroke. Stroke: The sudden death of brain cells due to lack of oxygen, caused by blockage of blood flow or rupture of an artery to the brain. Sudden loss of speech, weakness, or paralysis of one side of the body can be symptoms. Heat Stroke is when the body no longer has the ability to regulate it's own temperature. Usually due to a lack of water but other reasons can occur. When heat stroke occurs If heatstroke isn't treated quickly it could damage many major organs such as the brain, heart, muscles, and many other organs. The longer that this is left untreated by a doctor the worse it gets. Another thing is with the treatment you cannot give them water right away or lots of it. This will actually harm them, lots of the time we give IV drips to help hydrate them without causing more damage to internal organs. One of the most common heatstroke symptoms is unconsciousness. As said by @hopeycookie there will be a high temperature and that 104 degrees Fahrenheit is a commonly accepted clinical estimate but is not always exact. The major symptom that will also be noticed will be warm and dry skin. Notice I said dry this is because they will no longer be sweating once the enter heat stroke. Their heart rate and vitals will be off and breathing will be fast. These symptoms also could include a headache and nausea and vomiting. I apologize as I wrote this from my phone I could not really proof read so grammatical error will be found well within the post. Hopefully I cleared up some questions you may have had and improved upon the answer already given and didn't have any offense to the previous answering helper. Source M.D. Huggins Hospital
