OpenStudy (18jonea):

Assume red and green are equally likely occurrences. What is the probability that you will get zero green lights in a row of five lights?

OpenStudy (18jonea):

@iGreen

OpenStudy (18jonea):

@Luigi0210

OpenStudy (18jonea):

Its either 1/32 or 5/32

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it would be 1 out of 2 to the nth power which would be 2 to the nth power since we have 5 as the exponent it would be 2 to the 5th power so we end up with 1/32 probability for it to fail 5 times in a row and a 1/32 probability for it to work 5 times in a row. I hope this helps

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it is 1/32

OpenStudy (anonymous):

medal?

OpenStudy (18jonea):

are you positive?
