OpenStudy (landon34):

When you multiply a number by a percent, you find the sum. True False

OpenStudy (anonymous):

false

OpenStudy (anonymous):

true

OpenStudy (anonymous):

reason why is that lets say you do 10 x 10% it equals 1 and if you do 100 x 5% you get 5 so the answer is true

OpenStudy (anonymous):

medal?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Juliusmattos12 go onto safari or whatever you have that has a calculator and then test my answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I tested my answer to make sure that it is correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

see since 10% = 0.1 since 10 x 0.1 = 1 making it true

OpenStudy (anonymous):

also do you mean sum

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if it is the sum then it is wrong and I wasted like so much time giving you wrong stuff meaning it is false

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but if you meant the percent then it would be right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry for saying that it was right if it was wrong if you meant % then it is right but it is wrong if it is sum

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I apologize I was kinda confused since the question really is vague

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Define the terms sum and percent. sum=addition you are not adding anything The key word in the question is percent. You have a percent of the whole.
