OpenStudy (david954954):

A black hole is a star that has begun to collapse in on itself too little gravity to emit light gotten to the middle of its life become too bright to see

OpenStudy (david954954):

@Miracrown Help me?

Miracrown (miracrown):

Sure. What do you think the answer should be?

OpenStudy (david954954):

Maybe A?

Miracrown (miracrown):

So a black hole is actually a star that has collapsed its core -- (a) would be correct. Black holes have high levels of gravity--pulling everything in it even light. Black holes are stars at the end of their lives and because there is no light coming from a black hole -- it isn't too bright to see.

OpenStudy (david954954):

Thanks

Miracrown (miracrown):

:)

Miracrown (miracrown):

Technically only 10% of the star (its core) has collapsed. 90% of it will be blown into space from the reaction. :)
