I can only put in 3 different numbers
OpenStudy (anonymous):
then do it in decimal form
OpenStudy (anonymous):
but -2/3 is the answer though...
OpenStudy (anonymous):
that is true @Electric_Blue
OpenStudy (anonymous):
5x+2/2=2x-1
We simplify the equation to the form, which is simple to understand
5x+2/2=2x-1
We move all terms containing x to the left and all other terms to the right.
+5x-2x=-1-1
We simplify left and right side of the equation.
+3x=-2
We divide both sides of the equation by 3 to get x.
x=-0.66666666666667
