OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

@scienceteen8 help me

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

Which is point (–5, –3) on the graph? A. A B. B C. C D. D

OpenStudy (scienceteen8):

ok what do ya need help in

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

ok

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

there are five questions in total so can u help with more?

OpenStudy (scienceteen8):

ok

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

Which ordered pair is in Quadrant III? A. (–3, –1) B. (1, –3) C. (–1, 5) D. (–1, 3)

OpenStudy (scienceteen8):

i think A but im not 100% sure because this one confused me

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

thx

OpenStudy (scienceteen8):

np

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

What are the coordinates of the fourth point that could be connected with (–4, 7), (3, 7), and (3, –7) to form a rectangle? A. (–4, –7) B. (–3, 7) C. (–7, 4) D. (–7, –4)

OpenStudy (scienceteen8):

i think C ..................

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

thx

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

What is the distance between points (9, 4) and (–3, 4) on a coordinate plane?

OpenStudy (scienceteen8):

is there a photo

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

i wish

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

but i will help on this one alot

OpenStudy (scienceteen8):

gosh again lol no pic

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

lets search a coordinate plane

OpenStudy (scienceteen8):

ok

OpenStudy (scienceteen8):

there arnt any answer choices either?

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

no you type it in

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

that one does not work

OpenStudy (scienceteen8):

this one is verry difficult

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

yeah

OpenStudy (scienceteen8):

is it ok if i tag someone

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

sure

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

What is the distance between points (9, 4) and (–3, 4) on a coordinate plane?

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

OpenStudy (scienceteen8):

ok..... @AlexandervonHumboldt2 What is the distance between points (9, 4) and (–3, 4) on a coordinate plane? do you mind helping with this

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

@MysticalFlames

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

thank you @physicsstudies

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The distance is 12. :)

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

thank you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

All you have to do is find the difference between the x axises which are 9 and -3. That equals 12! :)

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you need help with anything else?

OpenStudy (scienceteen8):

how did u figure this out lol i couldnt even get how to solve ths

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I subtracted the x axises of both points which are 9 and -3. so that means 9 -(-3) and that equals 12

OpenStudy (scienceteen8):

oh ok

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

thank you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no problem

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

What is the perimeter of rectangle ABCD on the coordinate plane? Graph with points in two quadrants and on x axis - assessment graphic

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

alexandervonhuboldt2 just came online btw lol

OpenStudy (scienceteen8):

lol he keeps going on an off lol

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

oh my gosh

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The formula to find the perimeter of a rectangle is length + width + length + width. The distance from C to D is 6 units, the distance from D to A is 5 units, the distance from A to B is 6 units, the distance from B to C is 5 units

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So that means 6+5+6+5=??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@daisyduck04

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

sorry had to go to the restroom lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it's ok lol did you see what i said ^^?

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

yes i did

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So you got your answer then? :)

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

no ?

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

is it 22?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just add 6+5+6+5 and you'll get the answer 22

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yup!

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

oh ok ok

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

yes barely made it 80%

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Aww which one did you get wrong?

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

What are the coordinates of the fourth point that could be connected with (–4, 7), (3, 7), and (3, –7) to form a rectangle? A. (–4, –7) B. (–3, 7) C. (–7, 4) D. (–7, –4)

OpenStudy (scienceteen8):

sorry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ohh i didn't answer that one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

80 is still really good though don't worry about it

OpenStudy (daisyduck04):

i put c it was a its ok @scienceteen8 at least i made it to 80 lol it says on the bottom incorrect then says this A. The 4th point to complete the rectangle will always have an x-coordinate that is the same as the one x-coordinate of 3 given points that does not have a match. The y-coordinate of the 4th point will be the same as the one y-coordinate of 3 given points that does not have a match. With the points given, -4 does not have a match with another x-coordinate, and -7 does not have a match with another y-coordinate. So, the 4th point is (-4, -7). You may wish to plot the 3 given points to verify the coordinates of the 4th point. C. The 4th point to complete the rectangle will always have an x-coordinate that is the same as the one x-coordinate of 3 given points that does not have a match.
