URGENT: Bruce has a bottle that contains 60% of lemon juice and the rest water. The bottle has 1 liter of water. Write an equation in one variable that can be used to find the total number of liters of lemon juice and water in the bottle. Define the variable used in the equation. There is a Part B, but if i figure this out, i can answer that on my own.

"The rest water" means " 40% Water" .. so .. If 1 liter is 40% so what would be 60% ? It would be something like 3/2 liters of lemon juice

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so , for each 1 liter of water .. there would be 3/2 liters of lemon juice something like 1*x=3/2 .. being X the number of water liters

OpenStudy (helpfulnoona):

so 1 and a half liters?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What ? xd

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ahh ok , yeah , for each 1 liter of water there will be 1.5 liters of lemon juice
