Simplifying radicals help needed

OpenStudy (-welp-):

\[\sqrt{12} * \sqrt{27}\] My work: \[\sqrt{12} * \sqrt{27}\] \[=\sqrt{2} * \sqrt{6} * \sqrt{3} *\sqrt{9}\] ----------------------------------------- Besides simplifying sqrt9 to 3, I don't know what else am supposed to do.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Why not multiply the rest together to get sqrt(36)? Would that work? Been a while since I've done this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I manually calculated it in a calc, and that seems to be a valid step

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So \[\large \sf \sqrt{2} \times \sqrt{6} \times \sqrt{3} = \sqrt{36} = 6\] \[\large \sf 6 \times 3 =18\]

That make sense to ya?
