89/100 in simplest form.

OpenStudy (chantysquirrel1129**):

and To simplify it more, you have to see what factors can go into c:

OpenStudy (chantysquirrel1129**):

wait, that didn't come out right, LAG

OpenStudy (chantysquirrel1129**):

what factors can go into both 89 and 100 c:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have no idea how to do this. It's been like 4 years and I don't remember anything. I feel like an idiot for not remembering something so simple.

OpenStudy (chantysquirrel1129**):

Oh no, don't feel that way. I'm in the same situation xP I'm in virtual school, and I don't remember a lot of stuff either, so don't beat yourself up! c: Keep on trying! :D Ok, when I say factors, I mean numbers that can be multiplied together to get a number, for example. Let's say we have \[\frac{ 6 }{ 14 }\] now lets find the GCF (the greatest common factor)! in other words, what is the highest number that can go into 6 AND 14? c: It would be 2.

OpenStudy (chantysquirrel1129**):

So, since we know that 2 can go into 6, 3 times, and 2 can go into 14, 7 times.... You get this simplified fraction! ::|dw:1452791329980:dw|
