Which of the following is correct? A. The purine G bonds with the purine C. B. The purine C bonds with the pyrimidine G. C. The pyrimidine C bonds with the purine G. D. The pyrimidine C bonds with the pyrimidine G.

OpenStudy (aaronq):

You should really read your book/notes. This will all be there

OpenStudy (simplymarie_x):

I can tell you that a purine can't bond to a purine and a pyrimidine can't bond to a pyrimidine so that should help eliminate some answers.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, they do not actually "bond". "Hydrogen bonding" is actually a intermolecular force and not true bonding. @wavy.hawaiian I keep them straight this wag: A and G are the purines, Ag is the atomic symbol for silver, and the more "pure" the silver the better.

OpenStudy (photon336):

Yeah, i agree with @aaronq
