If triangle ABC is defined by the coordinates A(-4, -4), B(2, -2), C(0, 4) is dilated by a scale factor of 1/2, with resulting vertex A' at (-2, -2). What is the center of the dilation?

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

hint: if we start from a point \((x_0,y_0)\), and after a dilation, of factor \(1/2\), its coordinates become \((x_0/2,y_0/2)\), then the center of such dilation is located at the point to which refer the coordinates of such point

Thank you very much
