OpenStudy (ayeedomo):

hmm... Effective dialogue.... I don't know the PROFESSIONAL answer, but I could give you my opinion on what it does for a narrative?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok i will have your opinion that would really help

OpenStudy (ayeedomo):

Sorry my wifi is really slow and I had to reload the page several times before it let me reply XD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thats ok i will just wait

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Dont worry i will still wait

OpenStudy (ayeedomo):

Okay, so dialogue provides a great opportunity for more character detail and adds depth to the story. For example, the way characters speak to each other could tell you a lot about their relationship. In addition, it also makes it more realistic (because people don't just read each other's minds lol)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok can i ask ya another question ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

??????

OpenStudy (ayeedomo):

sure I guess XD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok cool

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What should happen with the conflict of your story during the body of your narrative

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You have been so much help by the way Thank you very much <3

OpenStudy (ayeedomo):

It should build up to a climax, I think. From wikipedia: It's the "turning point of a narrative work" and "is its point of highest tension or drama or when the action starts in which the solution is given."

OpenStudy (ayeedomo):

You're welcome! :D Sorry for my wifi lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

My wifi just went of too sorry i made you wait

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can i ask you a few more questions then i am done

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ayeedomo

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ayeedomo?

OpenStudy (ayeedomo):

ok :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How can you make readers feel like they are a part of your story

OpenStudy (ayeedomo):

You can make readers feel like they are a part of your story with sensory/setting description. Describing sight, smell, sound, touch, and feel help the reader better imagine the scene of the story and feel like they're there experiencing it with the characters.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Next question, Wow you are good at English !

OpenStudy (anonymous):

name two places where commas should always be placed.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

?

OpenStudy (ayeedomo):

Haha thanks XD (The last narrative I wrote was around 15 pages long LOL) I wasn't too sure about this question, so I looked it up. This should help :) http://www.ccc.commnet.edu/grammar/commas.htm ^ That names more than two places to put commas though. I'd say one of the major two is when you're listing something. EX: Jenny went to the store and bought eggs, milk, and cheese.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Next question,

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How can you identify coordinate adjectives

OpenStudy (ayeedomo):

I forgot to mention that if your only listing two things, you don't need a comma. XD I had absolutely no clue what coordinate adjectives (After looking it up I realised what they were though) http://grammarist.com/grammar/coordinate-adjectives/ ^ Based off of this website, coordinate adjectives are separated usually by "and" or commas, which is how you can identify them.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thx

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What do temporal words and phrases do?

OpenStudy (ayeedomo):

I think they are used to transition sentences and/or paragraphs.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Last question , An effective narrative conclusion should include what two elements?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

?

OpenStudy (ayeedomo):

I think it should summarize the main idea/key points and leave the reader with a lasting impression.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thx i am done

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i really wanna thx you

OpenStudy (ayeedomo):

Your welcome ^w^ Have a nice day! (or night lol)
