Some calc help :D!

OpenStudy (jennyrlz):

Find the limit by graphing the function and using TRACE or TABLE to examine the graph near the indicated x-value. lim x → 9 81 x − 9 9 − x Use window [0, 18] by [0, 5].

OpenStudy (jennyrlz):

so far ive found the limit by getting closer to 9; 9.1, 9.01 so on so forth. but i just noticed the whole "Use window" and im a little lost.

OpenStudy (jennyrlz):

@phi

OpenStudy (jennyrlz):

any clues o3o?

OpenStudy (jennyrlz):

the limit i found was one for 9+, 9-, and 9

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

It's a little hard to give advice without knowing what calculator you are using. Did you use the TABLE function?

OpenStudy (jennyrlz):

im using the Texas instruments TI-83 plus

OpenStudy (jennyrlz):

i got the question right, it was one.

OpenStudy (jennyrlz):

but what was the "window" numbers for?

OpenStudy (jennyrlz):

i doubt they would give numbers that where not supposed to be used ; ;

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

I would guess you would use the WINDOW function to zoom in and see if anything weird is going on that you can't see from the clouds.

OpenStudy (jennyrlz):

ahhh alright thanks :)

OpenStudy (phi):

did you graph the function? If so, there is a way to set the window on how zoomed in or out you are

OpenStudy (jennyrlz):

I did not graph the funchtion as i do not know how... u.u but i did figure out that it was reffering to what we saw in the window; in other words as you said "zooming"
