Whoops, sorry! I keep forgetting Openstudy's policies. Do you want me to explain it?
yes please
im also guilty manny of times of just giving answers
When you have a semicolon (;), you cannot use the word 'and' afterwards. Basically, the sentence 'Coastal areas of the Antarctic are milder; and precipitation...' is not grammatically correct.
That rules out A.
oh wow i didnt know that thank you for that
Grammar also clearly states that after a comma, there is always a conjunction (such as and, but, or). That means C is also not grammatically correct.
Excuse me, @Rineheart. Those filters are there for a reason, please delete those comments. :P And does the sentence necessarily need a comma, @Gossss__e? :/
done sorry jabez
D is not the answer because you do need a comma or else it is a run-on sentence, which is also technically not correct. That leaves B. @jabez177 @rineheart
thank you
Nice job explaining, @Gossss__e! Welcome to OpenStudy! :)
Yep! Thanks :) @jabez177
