If 2+√3 is a polynomial root, name another root of the polynomial. Explain how you know it's a root.

OpenStudy (shortystudys):

Assuming polynomial has rational coefficients, then other root must be the conjugate : 2 − √3

OpenStudy (mathmale):

That's called the "conjugate" of the first root. By all means, check your answer. Can you obtain a polynomial with rational coefficients from these 2 possible roots?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So it would be 2 -√3?
