Please help. Will fan and medal!!!! Rectangle ABCD is dilated by a scale factor of 2 with the origin as the center of dilation, resulting in the image A′B′C′D′. If the slope of AB is -2, what is the slope of A'B'? -4 -1 -2 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@boldjon I think -2

@SeanStewart16

OpenStudy (tboi):

yes it is -2

@WhatEven

OpenStudy (tboi):

Even though the triangle is dilated the slope will remain the same.

OpenStudy (boldjon):

When you scale something, it just gets bigger or smaller..therefore, the slope will be the same..so what's the slope of A'B' if AB's slope was -2?

i just answered her lol
