Clarice wrote this expression to describe the total amount of fair tickets she has in her pocket. Which situation could be described by this expression? A. Clarice doesn't know how many tickets she used. She knows she had 12 tickets to start with. B. Clarice doesn't know how many tickets she used. She knows they each cost $12. C. Clarice knows she used 12 tickets. She doesn't know how many tickets she has left. D. Clarice knows she bought 12 tickets. She doesn't know how many tickets her sister gave her.
T + 12
B
Where does it say that each ticket cost $12?
it doesn't A
To be honest with you, I think 1) the question is poorly / ambiguously written, OR 2) the problem, as shared by you, leaves something out or was copied incorrectly. I wouldn't spend much more time on this problem if I were you... You might benefit more from moving on to the next problem.
T + 12 is the expression that didn't copy that I wrote down
T would (probably) represent the number of tickets. 12 seems to represent the price of one ticket. Can't add these.
I would say D
C
@Mehek14
between A D
Read D carefully :-)
but it didn't say anything about her sisters involvement?
true, but that's the only answer :-/
I guess D makes more sense than the others Thanks
